When I was a teen I actually bent Honda 90 fork tube straight using a jack post, hydraulic jack, and the carry timber of my childhood home. By carefully trying to lift the entire house with the fork tube the tube bent first. Not exactly precision but this was a Honda Trail 90.I'd see about rigging up a car jack if you can get one to apply force evenly to both sides (wood blocks, etc?). They're usually at least half a ton, and that's way more than a rack like that needs to be reshaped even cold.
Just go slow and let the metal relax into shape, that'll help things stay symmetrical.
Lowest tech solution in my garage is two trees, a couple tow chains, and a comealong (hand winch).
Not me. I'm looking for a dimmer headlight. Lean into that old-school look.Very cool, Neil. A brighter headlight is on my to do list.
