I know they are completely different....... but that's where I'm at.
Nothing wrong with that, I loved my Road King, 60K miles with no issues, very reliable. Beautiful bike, enjoy.Ended up with a 2017 Fatbob. Yes.....I have gone to the dark side!

Comfort was part of it. But a small part. It was the handling. The Fat Bob handles ridiculously well. The Street bob had a harsher ride and wasn't super friendly on the curves. The Cont Gt, I just didn't think I'd like the rear controls for the amount of riding I do.Continental GT => rear sets
Street Bob => mid controls
Fat Bob => forward controls
Did you make your final decision based on rider comfort?
Nice bike. Congratulations .
Bought my first Harley in 2016. No regrets.Comfort was part of it. But a small part. It was the handling. The Fat Bob handles ridiculously well. The Street bob had a harsher ride and wasn't super friendly on the curves. The Cont Gt, I just didn't think I'd like the rear controls for the amount of riding I do.
And build quality is bar none better on the HD.
Never thought I'd own a Harley....
The interceptor has mid controls. Harleys are great, reliable, fast enough.Comfort was part of it.
Another reason not to get a tattoo! As much as I anguished over pin striping on my bike, I couldn't imagine thinking about getting a tattoo!
I hear ya, Im cheap and dont like to spend money on things I cant use.Another reason not to get a tattoo! As much as I anguished over pin striping on my bike, I couldn't imagine thinking about getting a tattoo!
What counts is the rider rides what pleases the rider.Comfort was part of it. But a small part. It was the handling. The Fat Bob handles ridiculously well. The Street bob had a harsher ride and wasn't super friendly on the curves. The Cont Gt, I just didn't think I'd like the rear controls for the amount of riding I do.

Harley’s warranty is good for that. HD will pay any kind certified mechanic willing to work on the bike under warranty. So if all you can find is a tractor mechanic to work on your bike, so be it HD has you covered. That and they have so much torque they will up a stump. I just inharited my best friends 1994 Dyna Lowrider with only 8,256 original mikes on it. So I currently own four HD‘s. I’m sad to say I just put my 2014 Night Rod Special up for sale. It’s the best running bike I’ve ever owned or ridden. But at my age it’s time to thin the herd in my stable of bikes. Sadly I just don’t have time to ride them all.The nice thing about owning a harley, all you need to do is find a farm tractor mechanic. I have to smile when I say it. I owned one too. And I still call it a farm tractor
