I got JFG RACING Handguards as the gift from my kid, to install on my 2019 Himalayan.
Anybody installed it? it didn't come with the installation guide, and three are couple "confusing" parts.

Thanks,
Afan

They're pretty easy to install as long as the mounting brackets can clear your brake reservoir on the RHS. Looking at the guards on your link, they should be able to clear, but you may have to flip the end-link on each bracket.

Start on either side. Remove the bolt on the end of your handlebar, and thread it through the hole on the short end of the handguard, screw it in enough to keep it in place. Then mount your brackets on the handlebars in such a way that you can line up the long end's hole with the bracket on handlebar. Position it in place, tighten up handlebar bracket, then bar end. Repeat for other side.

Spot on - exactly what I did when I installed the JFG guards on my 2020.

Thanks Laserman.
I did it (finally) today, but there is still the concern about the handlebar weight. There is a piece came with the kit that suggests to remove original inner part in the handlebars and install their - and I don't like that idea. 2nd option would be to remove the handlebar weight - I don't like that idea even less.
So I kept the weight, and installed the handguards. But wonder if the bolt is now long enough to hold everything safely?

I didn't bother with those extra pieces and just removed and reinstalled the bolt, leaving the bar weights in place.

The bolt should be fine. You could also replace it with one that has a head that fits more flush into the guard. I still need to do that to mine.

I just half way installed mine and found it interfered with the bottom of my brake lever when I used the brakes, so I removed both and was going to send them back in the morning...anyone have this issue?

i used these to get rid of the clearance issues, much more direct location for the hand guards, simple cheap and functional.
