Fuel-X Lite Install

Bridging the gap between the two subjects: do folks think the FuelX Lite has enough "smarts" for a cam upgrade on its own? Or will there still need to be ECU-flashing and mapping done?
Just bumping this question to see if anyone who has an answer may have missed it... I am intrigued. If the FuelX Lite doesn't cut it, would the FuelX Pro (or whatever the usual version with the handlebar selector is called) work?

Afaik the E5 ECU is effectively locked and no one has unlocked it yet, so the only thing you can do is play around with the closed loop sensor readings the ECU sees. Above about 4k(?) rpm the engine uses open loop (look up tables) and cannot be adjusted for the reason above.
On mine, with a tec cam and Chinese exhaust (std inlet side) the fuel x pro was a game changer and unlocked the bottom end power. At cruising revs it seems to run very lean, backed up by stellar miles per gallon (85+) but not so much to cause damage (so far)
