Continental GT 650 Handlebar Risers?

Kid Kurl

Getting there...
Has anyone used these handlebar risers that move the bar mount from under the upper clamp to on top of the upper clamp? I would like to know if the stock cables and brake lines will work or if I need to get longer cables and hose.

I installed a set yesterday. It went OK. I was amazed at how tight all the screws were that had to be loosed so that the tubes could be lowered and I had to almost remove the triple tree to be able to slip off each of the handlebars.
There is just barely enough slack in the wires and cables to be able to reconnect everything.
All in all, it took about 1 1/2 hours of doing it all carefully and slowly. My son helped. It is almost a 2-person job.
It went pretty much as the YouTube video about doing it shows, but which didn't show the somewhat difficult aspect of raising the triple tree, getting the tubes to slide down and slipping each handlebar off the tops of the tubes.
I didn't need to undo the headlamp clamps.

Thank you, I really appreciate your response. Looks like I have a project to finish. Thanks again!!

Very interesting. I have the up-and-back risers, but wish the bars on my Interceptor were a bit higher yet. I wonder if I could use both.. ? Could you provide a link to those? Thanks.

Cooperb Motorcycles: https://www.cooperbmotorcycles.co.uk/ is where I got them. They wouldn't sell or ship to Canada, so I had them sent through a third party. Some kinda liability issue they weren't insured for, they claimed.

Keep in mind I put these on my Continental GT. I think there are far easier to install risers to be found via a Google search for bar risers for the Interceptor. The bars on the two models are fastened differently.
