Old Scotsman, always had a passion for anything with an engine especially with 2 wheels recently downsized from my big old Jap machine to a RE Meteor Fireball Yellow and loving the little bike with a big heart
Good morning Jerk. Just a quick note regarding spam - I got rid of my first one at 0700 UK this morning and everything went exactly as you said.
All the best,

Awesome! Thanks for helping!
How much do you figure shipping to NY state will be on the seat and rear carrier you have advertised? Are you sure you don't want to keep the seat and potentially get it upholstered to your specifications on the OEM pan. It is probably what I would do. Just mulling it so not sure I want to proceed.

Hope you can pick up the oil reservoir. I have bought a few bags of bolts from bikes being broken up post-accident and they include random items like a side stand and springs or the battery holder and rubber strap or foot pegs and brackets etc. but I don't have what you are seeking.

I’m out of town for a week, but I can check on shipping when I get back next week if you’re interested. As for the seat, I don’t really need two.

Roger that. Come back to me when you can.
Got your last message via Gmail, couldn't pull it up on the Forum. My red car in question is a 1937 Austin Seven "Nippy", one of (I'm told) around 200 left worldwide. Only about 800 were ever built to begin with. Could not enlarge your thumbnail, but it looks like a Berkeley. There's a fellow here in Michigan with one, I see him at the car shows frequently. Please correct if I'm wrong.
Hi, nice ride. You may have mentioned elsewhere but what panniers and pannier rails do you run. Tnx

Many thanks. I will investigate. I am agonizing over panniers to the point of paralysis. I really don't want to buy rails but it seems no choice. Of course, adding rails widens the pannier choices though then the decision is which rails?

I really didn't want ugly rails on my bike. These have an adjustable strap that I choose to put under the seat, clips that go round each rear suspension leg, then a strap that goes across the back, above the number plate. It seems to work OK. Each pannier has the option of a unzippable extra portion about 4inches wide ( I can then get my full-face helmet in it, when shopping)
Hello all, thanks for letting join the forum, Happy new year to all. Got my 350 classic private sale off ebay last week 600 miles. I have ordered lowering rear shocks from Tec bike parts, anyone had experience with these ? .
DNA cover for the 2022 Classic 350 Reborn does not fit unless you modified it. Anybody else experienced the same issue? Thanks a lot!
Hi, saw your post on changes to the mirrors. Will I get much improvement in rear vision if I fit touring mirrors to my Interceptor. I seem to have a big blind spot with the standard mirrors but I am not willing to go bar end. Thanks.
I need to turn the rear suspension up on my Meteor. I have managed 3 clicks but the last 2 are not having it. Is there a easy way?
Good day,
Reading the thread about the W800 and noticed you mentioned an extended gear leaver. I also have Yeti size feet and think I need something like this for my Classic 350.
Do you mind posting where you got yours and perhaps a pic of what it looks like. I realize I'm in the US and not the UK but I'm sure it makes no difference.

Happy Riding

Hi,
I grafted a piece of bar 6" long onto the end of a stock gear lever. Drilled and tapped 1/4" every 5/8" or so and inserted an Allen (cap head?) bolt into the furthest point then went for a ride. Gradually moved one hole further back until I was happy with the position. Then welded in the old peg that holds the rubber.
Do a search for "Free Himalayan gear lever" - will not let me post picture or link

Hi, if TEC USA will not play ball with regards to the Meteor shifter, drop me a line and I will source one in the UK and post it to you for cost. Best regards, Andy

DD, this may be a late reply, but you might want to check your clutch engagement point. RE has a DIY video on how to adjust your clutch and clutch lever.
