Since NW Moto/Triumph of Seattle seems to be selling a fair number of RE's in this neck of the woods, I thought a section for Western WA would be in order. So if you're on the forum yet, give a shout-out if you're anywhere between Olympia and Bellingham.

I’m a little south of you guys here in Vancouver WA. I’m a bit of a RE nut owning seven REs from a 2008 Bullet to a 2020 Trials. If you guys are doing a ride on the weekend I might pop up on my 650 GT.

Found a front wheel from Hitchcocks in England. Getting closer to putting 2 750s on the road. Recently rebuilt engines, pretty exciting...

I hear NW Moto/Triumph/Royal Enfield of Seattle sold out to a guy out of San Francisco. Could it be yet another TEC guy that has to much money to spend but knows nothing about the motorcycle business? From what I hear from the grapevine is his motivaton of buying it was he want’s to own a motorcycle dealership in every cool city in the nation.🤔 You know a TEC guy bought Moto International just up the street from NW Moto/Triumph of Seattle only to go belly up in what two years?😕

Then their was the Microsoft guy Howard Crow that took down five dealerships in Seattle down in 2019.

It would be a real shame if NW Moto changed or went down the tubes. Under current (previous) management, they seemed to be very easy to deal with, responsive and open. What they turn into has yet to be seen, but only time will tell.....

I am a new member based in Seattle guys!

Just got myself a classic chrome 500.

Are there any Enfield-owner meetups in the Seattle area usually?

Congratulations on your new bike. And welcome to this forum.

What year of Classic Chrome 500 did you buy and where did you find it at? I also ride a RE 500 and love it. Maybe when the weather gets better we could meet up for a ride.

@Morgan60

Thank you!

Its a 2018 Enfield Classic Chrome and she's a beaut! I picked it up from someone selling on Craigslist and it has less than 500 miles on it.

We abssolutely need to start a Seattle Enfield Riders club!

A RE riding club sound great,

A 2018 Chrome, how did I miss that one? I’ve been looking on Craigslist for a 2018-2020 Chrome for years. 🤔Good to hear it found a good home. Is yours black or gray?

HWY 101 from Olympia to Port Townsend would be a beautiful ride next spring.

It's gray! That was the exact color I was looking for!

That route sounds perfect.

Gray is my favorite chrome color. 👍

Technically I'm within range of your coordinates, just a wee bit to the west on the Big Island.....
There are 2 RE dealers on Vancouver Island and the northern one in Parksville has lots of stock on most models plus is really easy to talk with.

When the weather is good if you want come over and ride with us I don’t see a issue unless they close the border again. Other then that no worries.

Sounds like a plan, used to live in Seattle and have done a lot of riding in Washington and Oregon. Pacific Northwest has some of the best riding in the world.
We will see what the virus does in the next cycle...
