What a beautiful bike. We never got the Tribute Black C5 in the USA. Was it a special bike
just for the UK?

How did your two week tour go? Did you camp or stay at B&Bs?
Thanks. These were a limited edition, 1000 for India and 1000 for the rest of the world. Not sure if the US took them?

We had a great time. Stayed in B&Bs, guest houses and Airbnb. 2250 miles in 12 days, from NE Scotland to Lands End and back. The bike did 85mpg two-up with luggage and never missed a beat. Cruised at 60-65 on bigger roads, going to 70 on the odd motorway.

Thanks Martin for sharing it. Isn’t amazing how well the do and just a 500cc. I’ve never seen this bike in the US, DRATS! I would have surely pick one up. One of the last big 500 singles RE made. You got a real gem there.😁. I did pick up a 2000 Trials 500 that was the last big 500 RE 500 important here. 😕 I’m hoping RE comes out with a new 500 Bullet. But it’ll never have the character of the old motor. 😕

They look good on there. Same style as what came on the Pegasus. They are a good bag simple and work good.

Hooligan - Swapped the chrome wheels for the greenies off of my 2005 Military and ditched the original chrome fender (full of holes from the previous taillight assembly).

....Ignore the lack of tail light, rear indicator lamps, or registration tag.......those were all installed prior to tearing up the back roads

The 1st up and 2nd, 3rd, 4th down gear pattern made for quick shifting...and the neutral finder was interesting.
She was a fun ride while I had her.

Here’s my 2014 I bought new. Loved the bike. I was a newer rider then and it was too buzzy on the highway and seat was uncomfortable then I sold it like a dummy but it’s cool. I’ve got fond memoriesEFA19BD2-87EA-444A-B602-2C96735D5CA6.jpeg

Heres my new to me 2005 Bullet Electra X. I acquired it around 4 weeks ago from my father in law. It had stood for around 4-5 years under cover.
The last few weeks I've been busy tinkering when I can, replacing the exhaust system, bars, mirrors, battery, converted to a single seat and gave her a full service all round. I'm sure I'm missing something but finally got her running on the weekend on the second kick over :D
