I just discovered a trail called the cross Pa. adventure trail on youtube, which might be doable for me, since I have no real off road experience. it doesn't look as challenging as a BDR. anyone ridden this, and can give any info. on the road surface? the video depicts a combo. of dirt, gravel and asphalt. left a message with the Pa. dept. of conservation to find out if camping is allowed along this route. and if a permit is required. Thanks

@puttbutt I have not yet had the opportunity to ride the route. If you search the map, there are several campgrounds, State Parks/Forest, National Forest, wilderness areas located along the way. There are a few posts on Advrider with first hand reports of the CPAT.
