noticed more bikers in the city

Went to visit mom in a nursing home in the city, and noticed a lot of people riding two wheelers, bicycles, motorcycles and scooters. In the neighborhood saw a lot of food delivery people on scooters zooming through the streets, sometimes on the sidewalk even. none had tags on them. just signs where the tags are suppose to be with the name of their business. saw a lot of bikers filtering through traffic, even though it's illegal. saw one accident involving a guy on a scooter on the highway with a SUV. no one was injured. a bunch of bikers wearing their colors making a lot of noise with their aftermarket exhaust on their American v twins. plus one of them had his stereo blaring so loud, I could hear him a mile away. didn't realize they could get that loud. saw a couple of sports bikers with their Girlfriends riding pillion wearing mini shorts with their butt cheeks jiggling all over the place. ( don't know the reason for this) It could have been the nice weather, or because of the price of gas, that I saw more two wheelers out. I know two wheels isn't for everybody, but for those who can, if more people embraced the two wheel lifestyle, maybe we won't have to depend on oil as much.

Same out here, I've been seeing a whole lot more people on 2 wheels the last 2 months and counting. Many new riders, a few days ago I watched a guy on a shiny new Indian Scout make the goofiest left turn from a light I've ever seen. Thought he was gonna dump it!

Thing about bad motorcycle riders is that they tend to sort themselves out quicker than bad cagers do. They either gitgud or make a mess somewhere. Too many airbags protected by airbags on 4 wheels.

I've been seeing a lot more scooters around me than usual. But, gas prices being what they are, and a 50cc scooter getting around 100mpg, I don't see why not. The other day, some guy pulled out of the local golf course on a 50cc scooter with his golf bag in the floor between his legs. Looked really awkward, but where there's a will, there's a way.

I was on the road a couple of weeks ago and I noticed how many Harley-Davidsons there are up here in northern Alberta. Close to 2/3 of the bikes were Harleys that day.

In general Harleys have been very popular all over the province the last few years, despite the fact that Harley sales in Canada as a whole have been fairly soft lately.
