Probably need floats , we have had ,er, a few rain storms around here, over 6" in the gauge for the week.
I also coped a 48 inch dia Radiata pine blown down along my drive and on to my car bonnet, power lines down and trapped under the tree, , six days without the car and seven days without power, phone or net.
Then seven hours before the computer "woke up" seemed the longest bit!

Yes the Simpsons trip is still in the process. More money for some custom machining for foot controls needed and should be able to test it for Xmas if the machinist can find some time to finish. On the himi I reckon with milling the cases to take a bigger liner may see close to 540 cc achievable with my mud figures. Found a Japanese piston that's very close. Would have to open the head somewhat to clear the raised crown but would get around 11to1 comp ratio. Going to get my own spec cam made and ground locally. If it works ok I'll see about doing some kits for sale.

Yep car is gaffer taped up and running, but most body shops booked out til the end of January.
The council and the insurance company finally got their act together and I had a mulcher and crane in the drive for 10 hrs yesterday
Great machine which devoured logs which looked like 500mm dia, not much call for pine firewood in Oz!

Cool, sounds great!
So far, 500cc is the largest I’ve come across. Done by a bloke in WA:

He put about three times as much Loctite as needed, tip is to cut a V on the edge of the nozzle and draw a 2mm triangular bead in the centre.
And as he put anti seize on the threads he should have reduced the torque 20/30% as factory figures as for clean/dry.

Gave up after that---
