Hello Chaps
I'm about to take delivery of my first Royal Enfield ,a 2018 low milage Himalayan. I'm going to be doing some off roading on it as it will replace my KTM 200 EXC 2 stroke. Be a culture shock :) I've been reading the Himi section of this forum and it all looks very intresting.
Cheers AL

Hello and welcome to this forum. Congratulations on the new to you Himmy. I also own a 2018 Himmy and love it. No ABS and a simpler bike also about 20 LB lighter because of it.

Welcome..:)
Chalk and cheese spring to mind.
At least if you ride the Himmy within IT'S capabilities, as well as your own, you shouldn't be upsetting the country set.;)

Hi Blue I did a spot of green laneing on my 1150GS but with the Tourance tyres and a tad damp under foot it was a bit tricky. The EXC is a bit OTT for trundling round the Surrey lanes . Looking forward to getting a Himmy.

Just a quick update.
I did a service and a few mods to the bike, cleaned it and the Himmi came up as new.
I was really impressed with the smooth ride with light steering and a comfortable riding position. Even the build quality was good for what it was.
Two mates had a go and both liked it a lot , one now wants one .
Cheers Alec
