Hello I stumbled across this board after buying a 22 silver Himalayan. did much research (watched many YouTube videos) before purchase and was quite happy on the ride home.

Will have a lot of questions regarding oil changes, using the Himalayan for camping, where to buy panniers, and other stuff I can't think of right now.

Congrats!
What did it end up costing out the door?

Flat already? What happened, did you run over a hypodermic needle in North Long Beach? 😅
Aologies on the late reply:
I drove the Himmy if I can call it that through Angeles Crest parked it. Came back a few days later, drove it a mile, started hearing a playing-card-in-the-spokes noise. Front became sluggish. pulled over. had a flat. Dont know what i ran over but there was a puncture in the tube near the stem, so I ran something over.

I purchased an off-road innertube off amazon for like $25, seems twice as thick as the stock one.

I'd have to look for the paperwork somewhere in the garage but it was MSRP $5200 I think plus tax title license fee, and a $295 or $395 dealer prep fee that I didnt mind paying as the shop I bought the bike from has been there for about 20 odd years; help keep he lights on and all.

Nice of you to support local businesses in this age of online commerce, wish more people did this.
