Meteor 350 engine

Location
California
I'm eyeballing a 2022 Meteor 350 but read the engine is new. Are there any bugs in the new engine RE is still working on?

Are there any bugs of which one should be aware?

Thanks...

Went to coffee at the local RE dealer. When I left home, a fellow a few doors up the road came out on what I thought was a Triumph, but to my surprise it was a new Meteor. We had the chance to chat at a few stop lights. He wanted a Himalayan, but it is 11 cc over the lowest insurance limit here in BC. On the highway we were both riding along at 100 to 105 KPH when the speed limit is 90 KPH. Doesn't seem to be a slouch in the speed department.

Technology nowadays is quite good. New engines are well designed and not like those of yesteryear. If it's "man" made, it can fail. Even the venerable, time proven engine designs can fail.

Good luck.
