LOW RIDER SEAT FITTED ON REBORN....Mini Review

KEN ROCK.

Well travelled
Fitted the Low Rider Seat today....had only short ride, so far feels ok. Feels more like sitting IN the bike rather than ON...bit more cruiser .....and a little easier to put the leg over ...not a big difference but still quite noticeable ..... still has reasonably good cushioning ......does change the bike in a nice way.. ive already got to really dig to get my foot under the shifter. Do you think the lowered seat position would make that worse?

Hi Goodbar, just wondering if you have moved the gear lever up a notch....makes a real difference.........as far as the Low Rider seat goes,it will make it a little harder to get the foot under the lever .......the lever is too low from the factory.

I haven’t moved it yet. Mostly because you have to loosen two frame bolts to get it out. I’ll give it a try. I’d like to bel more like I’m riding in the bike

Yeah ,i am 173 cm high ...average... the low rider seat really made a difference even though it is not that much lower... not really a big deal having to move the gear lever.... as you probably already know there are a couple of good YouTube videos on this very issue... let me know how you go ...good luck

Mine was horizontal and I had to move it up a notch. When I told my dealer he said they had already done it as part of the PDI.
I remember some years back in the old motorcycle magazines there was an article on the ideal footrest position.
The general concencus was vertically in line with the nose of the seat was the ideal position.
On the classic 350 the pegs are forward of the seat nose which means the angle of your foot is flatter requiring a bit more room especially with boots.
It's easy to move the frame rail just loosen off the front engine through bolt then remove the rear bolt on the frame rail on that side.
Remove the lever pinch bolt and mark the lever position relative to the spindle/splines.
You then just push/wiggle the rear of the frame down and this allows enough room to pull off the lever and move it.
Nothing falls off or requires realigning app 15 mins in time.
