Instrument panel and headlight brackets

Looks a bit like mine, including the adjustable stand and cut down rear seat.
But his seats look better than mine, so a bit of work still needed. I have the Sherpa covers from Amazon which fit with a draw cord at the perimeter so quick and easy
Removed the beak too but the cops here are still keen that you have a vertical number plate that the speed cameras can read so that only shortened the back around 40 mm.
I have mounted a Givi A210 screen in the way suggested in the sketch on Landsurfers post, but my headlamp had to be a bit furthered forward to get the screen at an angle which works for me.
Brackets came with the screen when I bought it a few years back, but now they only seem to have bike specific ones.
Too dumb to post photos, , maybe I will run into Slownold some day and he will put me in one of his vids!

Interestingly the new scrambler version expected to be released by RE some time this year looks like they have gone for a similar treatment as these brackets do.

The scrambler is supposed to have a 19 inch front wheel and is also cheaper than the Himmi.

Yep, no rear rack, center stand , front rack, beak or windscreen, so they have taken a bit of cost out.
19" wheel will improve braking a little, but I would rather they just dropped the better forks, brake and 19" wheel from the 650 twins straight on,
And a 450 motor would have been nice too!

I would be interested on a set of these if another run gets made or even buying the files to get these manufactured locally?

Is there any other people out there making something similar - it looks easy to do the headlight l, but the instrument cluster is the tricky part :)

This is the final product. Installation was very easy, instructions were easy to understand. Every bolt fitted perfect. Every cut was maybe with precision, fitted perfect. Thanks for everything.
Posted on the 25th August from Sheffield and the parcel arrived at the addressee in Puerto Rico 14 days later.
For just £8 in postage with Royal Mail I think thats pretty good.

I have found that the plug to the instrument panel can come loose now that the panel, and the cable, turns.
Fix is to zip tie the cable to one of the new brackets so any bending takes place between the zip tie and the harness at the headstock.

It's true. What I did with the plug from the instrument panel was to bend a little bit the clip so it stays attached, and the other harnesses I strapped them to both one to each side with a zip tie.
