I know personally of myself and two other folks from Indiana who ride Himalayan and one of them sold his.... and I am actively trying to recruit a friend of mine to the RE world with a Himalayan.

So, I am thinking we could increase the radius a bit and hopefully meet-up and do rides together. I am more than happy to host people at my place in Indy and use it as a base-camp to local rides here. Would be nice if others in the area could chime in and we can hopefully come up with some nice weekend/long weekend rides, or who knows even longers events....??

Also, this could be a collective regional thread, feel free to add your own local state specific threads.

Cheers!

I'd be willing to meet up in Kentucky or Tennessee unless you can show me where interesting roads are around Indy. With the exception of the Nashville, IN area and the south eastern end of Ohio I didn't find many interesting roads in those states. ;)

LOL, you nailed it TN_twowheeladdict, Hossier National Forest, Morgan Monroe, Brown County and Yellow wood are the only areas that have somewhat decent roads and very limited dirt roads with public access around here.

I was down at Land Between Lakes past weekend for memorial day, 100s of miles of dirt roads there, dedicated ohv park, great camping spots, some day use areas to get in the lake. I've been wanting to get a ride together for Daniel Boone National Park, or really somewhere not hot and muggy in TN ;) You might be able to educate me better on that. Fall time wanted to go up to UP

If you PM me your email address, I can share with you a local map I have been working on here in Indy with some gravel roads, place to camp, eat etc.

I was in the UP in July of '13. I needed to buy a sweatshirt because I was dressed for summer riding! Of course the locals thought it was a warm 55 degrees. :)

If you can stay in the tree covered roads running along streams it is quite comfortable riding in middle Tennessee. Otherwise you have to go up into the smokies to enjoy mid day riding comfortably.

PM sent.

Any one around Indiana interested in riding this upcoming Friday/Sat/Sunday. Me and wife might get out on our bikes and may be try and make a trip up to Michigan UP if we can find a secluded airbnb since all campsites seem to be taken. If anyone might be interested in tagging along shoot me a message.

If not hope you guys get to ride this weekend.

Stay safe!

I’m in Cincinnati, just picked up my 2020 Himalayan from its 300 mile service visit. I tend to ride around southeast Indiana and Northern KY but I’m always willing to travel to good roads/trails.

I am heading up to Cumberland Falls KY Columbus Day weekend. Haven't decided yet which bike I am bringing. Is that within your riding range?
