I found this to be a bit unusual

hello all, yesterday while meeting up with a friend to have lunch, came across this sight in the parking lot. Inked20220523_112712 (1)_LI.jpg

So, your point is?

I have a friend, who, having been sideswiped by a rampant BMW cage, now only has one leg.
And a prosthetic.
He still rides a bike. Or rather, he is riding his bike again.
Walking any distance, however, is another matter. One to be yet overcome. :(

I see your point. we saw the biker as he was walking into the store, but I didn't notice any obvious impediment. it's just something you don't see every day that caught me off guard.

The Mrs was dying of cancer (spine, hip, femur, liver, jaw, breast ........) but looked amazing under her wig. She was obviously very short of energy and the cancer hospital nursing staff insisted that she had a blue badge - why walk 200yds to and from the store when you have only that far in you before you need to rest.
We parked at the local supermarket, and an obnoxious git who was helping his wife out of the car, gave Gill grief about these spaces were for really disabled people, she said that she had cancer but he continued until his wife gave him what for. I came back with the trolley to a wife in tears, she couldn't face shopping for a while. When I got the truth out of her I was (am still) livid.
Gill passed away a few months later.
God help anyone who abuses someone who they think doesn't deserve a disabled badge within my earshot.

Sorry to hear about the Mrs and what she had to endure, and for your loss. I have been treated for throat cancer, chemo and radiation. It's no picnic regardless of why. Had to look up the meaning of "git", agree with your usage.

May this "git" be the receiver of the same kindness he showed your Mrs, hopefully if or when it happens, it'll be a very tough pill to swallow.

Condollences on your loss.
