A brand new rider and member here. Just got a 2021 Himalayan last Saturday as my first ever bike and loving it so far.
Decided to join here to get some tips and advice from more experienced adv riders and also get some tips on my bike.

Haha they're not really friendly for local standard
Yeah, we got some nice roads and landmarks to hit. I've only been riding for a week, my cornering sucks (very slow) so I don't feel comfortable going for longer trips but I do have some planned already.

Do you have good instruction / classes / teachers available in your area? That has been time and money well spent for me, and I would recommend it for any new or returning rider.

I did only a little bit of browsing, I didn't find any schools near my area. I did recently pass my A licence test which included 15 riding hours plus 3 additional hours cause i failed the figure 8 on the first try. I am getting better though, it's just that I don't have too much confidence in the bike yet. I do corner safely I think and I do it close to speed limit (e.g. in a 50 kph areas I corner at 30-40, talking about corners that are above 45°), but flow of traffic here is way above the limit so I feel insecure mostly about cars that squeeze into my but when I slow down a bit.

It's just outside Zagreb. I'll check again before the start of next season, it might be that these courses are not held throughout the year. Or I did not search properly

How did you go with more training?

The training and licence testing centres in some parts of Australia provide intermediate and advanced riding training for people who have already passed their tests.
Maybe your centre’s have something similar?
or they might know someone who does ?

Mmmhh I know “Camelus Adventure” in Buje but I think is too far from Zagreb
