The video is back with a solution so might be worth watching. It makes sense to me. It may just be a question of removing the ribber bung grommet thingy (is that what its called?) that holds the brake line. Mine came with the newer version where it is freer. I am a bit worried about my BMW as it has similar rubber thingy and does compress at the one point
I removed the wire restraint from the fork leg, wrapped it in a cloth to prevent it marking, while I clamped it in my bench vice.
It is quite stiff wire, but i managed to lever the "U-Bend " open a fraction, so that the rubber grommet can now "wobble" in there when the forks compress and rebound.
We'll see how that goes. I'll report back if any problems.
