Thanks for the advice, ive just ordered the SRCs.
No Worries glad to have been of help.
The installing is straight forward - I didn't have any issues with the actual fitting of the bars.
SRC includes quality A2 stainless hardware and a bottle of Visbella 6671 thread locker - the 6671 thread locker is about the same as Loc-Tite "Red" I didn't use the included Visbella 6671 thread locker - I used Vibra-tite VC-3 which doesn't dry/cure hard like typical tread locker which allows you to remove the bolt and reinsert it again and still retain "thread locking" basically its a polymer plastic - kind of like how encapsulated threading bolts are.
Only issues I had with fitment was an issue with the length of hose from the rear master cylinder to the reservoir. You have to relocate the master cylinder with an included bracket but the hose is short from the RE factory so there's not much wiggle room. I did manage to remove the hose from the master cylinder and run re-routed the house which gave me just enough - an extra 1/2" would have been perfect. So if you have time make life easier on yourself and get you a longer hose before you start installing the bars. On that note I'm sure there's some factory variance in the length of the hoses so your's might be good to go as it. On another note see you're in Tassi - I spend some time in Hobart back in 1999 when I worked for Qantas beautiful place.

G'day all.
I'm looking in to the best crash bars for a 22 himalayan. I can not tell the difference between the Givi TN9050 and the SCR adventure moto
R-HM18-17-02
They are both about the same price.
Any advice or quality 3 point alternatives would be appreciated.

Cheers
P.S. my first post, so if it's in the wrong spot, i apologise.
I have the Givi and they are decent quality, far better than the RE official bars which are 2 point and thinner.

Givi appear to be decent quality, as long as you can live with the odd left hand mounting - it appears that on mine, and on others I’ve seen on here the left horizontal (above swing arm mount going forwards) bar doesn’t have much of a bend in it, and some people have issues with their shin/ boot hitting it. There’s some recent mention of it on here somewhere.
