Cell Phone Damage From Handlebar Mounts?

It's a pity Royal Enfield don't sell some sort of widget that can show you directions from the handlebars ...

More seriously, the wiring shown in the photos would have me breaking out in hives - I can't stop myself from making sure all extra cables are neat and tidy!

Why not just use your phone on a Quad Lock mount?
That's what I would like to have done. With that said, there are many cases of cell phone damage due to the vibrations from the motorcycle. Quad lock may or may not do the job. I'd rather use this device instead of having to replace my iPhone. Do a Google search about iPhone damage when mounted on motorcycles. Apple has published articles warning of this.

My bike did not come equipped with the tripper. Apparently they did away with it on the 2023 models. As for the wiring, it's one wire that goes to the USB port. It's super easy.
