Carry extra tubes? Yes or no...

Nope. I've never carried extra tubes on any bikes. I don't do the Alps though. If I get a flat,, I get the bike home somehow and then fix it.

Just clearing out the nest, found a box of 6/7 tubes I have carried around over the years.
Seems if you pack them you never need them!
If the thought punctures worries you have a good look at Mitas's current site, they make some big claims for some of their HD tires!

Yes I do. Both front and rear along with tire spoons and patch kit, and a inflator.
I try to stay off road as much as I can, and a puncture is bound to happen. Close to home, not an issue.
That being said, have never had a flat on the road, and would love to lose the weight.
