Yeah I know the subject is crash stories but I took out the Himi today to drive to work. I figured the worst part was my driveway because we had some sleet build up and it was a little icy. Well that went pretty good but got out to the Highway and they did not have it graveled so it was a little exciting to say the least. I would get it up around 40 and it would start fishtailing got a little dicey. so I had to pull over because cars were backing up. Eventually made it to work and started work to be greeted by a torrential downpour of sleet. Hopefully by 1600 it should be clear.
does any one else have any experience with less than ideal driving conditions??

Update: Later that day while leaving work, I noticed the same thing. Back end was coming out from under, so I am thinking maybe flat tire. Pulled over and sure enough valve stem was lose tried filling with air and got no joy. took tire off and replace tube and now just have to wait to get off shift to replace rear tire. Has anyone else have this situation occur to them??
thanks

Well travelled
I had an Annekey 3 puncture, rear felt like I was on wet ice but the carcase was stiff enough to stay on the rim ang get me 20 km to a tire depot.
Tire was OK - what tires were you on?
