2021 Himalayan LED flasher relay?

Unlike my 2019, this 2021 has a 4 pole flasher. The 2019 flasher was easy to replace, it is a simple 2 pole. Anyone know of a direct replacement flasher for LED turn signals for this newer version? I can't find a wiring diagram for the 2021, and I've blown a couple of fuses blindly trying to retrofit a 2 pole LED relay. I'm not a fan of using resistors, hoping to find a relay.
Thanks

If anyone is interested, I found a solution using an inexpensive Novita EP29 LED relay from my local auto parts store and a connector and pins from Cycleterminal dot com.

Wire colors on my 2021 USA version flasher connector:

White/yellow connects to the EP29 (+)
White/red connects to the EP29 (L)
Green connects to the EP29 (S)
Black connects to the EP29 (-)

Flash rate for my all LED turn signals went from 2-3 times per second to about 1 per second. Same for the hazard lights...

sorry if this has been shown or answered, but any update on this? My flasher relay like my main and fuel pump has burned up I believe. I lost my indicators and the emergency flasher on my 2021 no longer works. Checked other indicators that were 12v I had on hand, fuses and the switch itself. I’m stuck now because of the weird relay they decided to use on the 2021.

The flasher relay seems to be fading out or to have a short in the wiring on my new 2021 model Himalayan. In the middle of a ride it will intermittently stop blinking, lights will come on but solid only, no flashing, and no hazards flashing. I tested the relay and it seems to have a short- when I press on the relay wires the flashers come back on and I hear the relay clicking. Decided to order a new relay through dealer just in case (hopefully it's the right one). When I take the old relay apart and rewire it, and get the flashers working consistently, I'll post a reply and some photos as I'm guessing this is a common problem.

I had this problem and ended up wiring in an LED relay and converting my indicators to LED. My factory relay wasn’t even attached, so it was banging around between the side panel and the battery. The factory didn’t even attach the retaining plate for the battery, so I’m assuming between the relay shorting and bashing around over bumps, etc, mine went out. It did the same though with the indicators intermittently working and then just stopping.

I may have to go the LED replacement route if I can't solve the issue . I've been thinking it is a vibration issue, the flashers come back on after sitting for a while and then are good for a while. Last ride was pretty good, only failed to flash for a 10 minute period in 4 hours, then started working again. I'd taped up the relay and wires with electrical tape before the ride. Still not sure if it is just the relay connection or the relay itself. Any recommendations on which LED products you used? Thanks.

I used the Tridon EP29 relay and the diagram someone had on here on how to wire it up. I used small female adapters from ACE hardware in the meantime. I’m still looking at creating a socket for it to make it easier to install, but it works. Since I cut the connection and didn’t extend the wires, I stow it up by the storage compartment between the fuse box and there so it doesn’t rattle and bounce around.

Hey, all, am in the same boat with my '21 Meteor 350 and upgrading to an LED friendly flasher relay. Am willing to try an EP29 flasher and wire a new connector into the harness, but am having trouble tracking down a compatible socket. Anybody know what that part is called or where to get it?

slowwalker mentioned getting a part from cycleterminal.com, but their site is clunky/dated and I cant find it. Nor have I got a response from them when asked.

Thanks!

I was trying to find a socket also, but ended up just using female adapters for the time being and using electrical tape as a double secure to make sure it didn’t come undone and short. I know it looks janky, but it works and have had no issues with my LED setup.

UPDATE- I picked up the EP29 as the '21 models need the 4-pole relay and not the 2-pole relay,..but I believe now the issue was just a short in the wiring or loose connection, that's why the vibration intermittently turned the flashers on/off. It could have been a non-grounded connection as one earlier post mentioned. After some tightening down of all the connections, the original relay is working just fine and there was no loss of indicators during a 4-day ride this weekend.

Anybody else have luck with this? My flashers come on solid and don’t blink, I think I have the same issue. I found the EP29 relay, but as someone else mentioned, finding the socket is proving difficult, even through cycleterminal website. I don’t really want to switch to LEDs, so would this fix still work with the stock bulbs? Has anyone else found the correct socket?

Hey all. I also had this problem. I solved it temporarily by removing the relay, tapping it on a table, thereby "unsticking" it. I had my dealership order me a new part. It took several months to get the part in, and just last week my existing relay got stuck again, so I finally put in the new one. The hardest part was simply getting the part. (part # RAC00135/B). The relay is an easy plug-n-play removal behind the right side panel, lower left of the battery.

JohnFegy- you have the solution. I bought this replacement relay for when the issue happens again, but so far my original relay is still kicking after 4000 miles. Tapping the relay to unstick works as a temp fix. My newest issue with the 2021 Himalayan relays is the two relays under the seat, one is for the fuel pump, failed in the middle of a ride. Engine just cut out like bike was out of gas. You can pop the two out and reverse them, and that will get you back home. This is a well-known issue with videos on youtube. Hitchcocks UK sells a pack of improved replacement relays- good to have on hand.
