Time to get a new bike if that's what you want! The Iridium seems to be much better. Now to add 20 HP and 20 Foot Pounds of torque.??
just a curious thought, anyone out there ever drop another engine into the Himalayan? I imagine a good builder could improvise and fit something with more ponies and torque and still utilize the remainder of the Himalayan. Might be a project for someone......Time to get a new bike if that's what you want!
If you have 18 grand (3x the cost of the Himalayan) you can have this:Time to get a new bike if that's what you want!
Sorry to hear you are having some issues.Read somewhere that some of the 21 models had problems with air leaks between the throttle body and intake manifold? Something about bad o-rings or gaskets???
If that is a problem, it is easy to diagnose. While the engine idles I spray carb cleaner at that area. If I hear a distinct change in RPM, there is a leak.
I will check this today and report back.
This bike has been disappointing. My new KTM 390 ADV seems much more reliable.
Ill go you Halves , how about 10HP and 10FtLbsThe Iridium seems to be much better. Now to add 20 HP and 20 Foot Pounds of torque.??
I checked those relays. They are fine. I have not had the problem since I installed the Iridium plug.

I understand you are upset. But you said the stalling issue has not recurred?I did the manifold leak test. That is not the issue. Very disappointed in this bike. I expect it to function and have the quality of other bikes out there. It does not.
That’s bloody dangerous !Yes. It stalls when you drop in gear, and randomly. It is dangerous.
You have a two year warranty. Have you taken the bike back to the dealer so they can sort it out? If so what did the find out?I did the manifold leak test. That is not the issue. Very disappointed in this bike. I expect it to function and have the quality of other bikes out there. It does not.
Have you had the first 300 mile service done by the dealer? Some times it’s a simple EFI adjustmen.I am asking the dealer about this problem and if they can fix it.
