    Also worth putting a fresh charge on the battery. The EFI gets cranky if it doesn't get enough juice. Shooting in the dark, but easy enough to confirm.

    I also have trouble getting my foot under the shifter when wearing my alpinestar tech7 enduro boots, and I have a relatively small foot at a US 9. Not a problem with road boots. I have adjusted the shift pedal up a bit, but a longer/higher lever would make all the difference in the world...

    Just wanted to report that the pics EM sent me did the trick. I sheared the little mushroom head that holds the spring onto the kickstand. Holding it on now with a hose clamp. Works like a charm.

    One of the two is reverse threaded, as are Yamaha's, so most mirrors that will fit a Yamaha will fit your bike. Also, if you want to upgrade, https://www.doubletakemirror.com/ make a quality product and can be ordered to fit our bikes, might be kinda pricey in Europe though, hard to say. Good...

    Looks like a couple of buddies and myself are looking at doing the NEBDR over the last 2 weeks of June, starting at the south and working north. Then maybe the puppy dog trail back down through VT to get home. Getting pretty psyched, this will be my first big trip on any bike, can't wait.

    Its pricey, and as you mentioned, it limits your ability to add bags, and I'm not convinced I see a benefit. You still have the header pipe more or less totally exposed, so damage it still a real possibility off road. What are the manufacturer's claims as to benefits.
