Cross Country on the Himalayan

These videos were awesome. I've seen very small parts of the roads you traveled and this has inspired me to see more of them. Are you on any social media like Intagaram or Twitter?? I'd like to see more of your travels.

Just watched part one. You sure racked up the miles on the bike. You must be riding all day long. What speeds is the loaded down Himalayan happy at? How was it at interstate speeds?

Yes, some days were 12 hour days. But, the bike was pretty comfortable with the tall Seat Concepts seat. The only thing that really hurt on my old broken body was my throttle hand would really get sore, even my forearm. But, you just ride through the pain. I did okay on the interstate if there wasn't a grade or a headwind! But there were times where I couldn't get past 50 mph.

Another great video! Looks like you found some fantastic roads along the way and visited some places from your past. I absolutely must ride some of these roads in my future. It's also pretty impressive that you made this trip in the dead of summer. I'm not sure how the weather is up that way, but it's hotter than hell down here in Texas right about now.
