I have put a request to Royal Enfield support for a wiring diagram. They have replied asking for my mobile number and location in order to process the request, so I am hoping one will be forthcoming! If they can provide it, I will add it here.

Hiya, the EURO IV Owners Manual's got good quality (better than the service manual) wiring diagram for the EFI bike, it's on here.

Found it, thank you. I only had the BS6 manual which doesn’t have it! it may still be nice if they send me a diagram in glorious technicolour though! (or produce one for the BS6 since there are a couple of changes there).

The UK arm of Royal Enfield have replied to my request for wiring diagram, stating that

“Thank you for your email requesting a wiring diagram. I am sure you possess the necessary skills to traverse a wiring diagram,
Unfortunately this information is only supplied to Royal Enfield official dealers who have completed the mandatory Royal Enfield training courses.“

So it appears from their reply that its omission from the BS6 manual is deliberate. Let us see if the main Royal Enfield support team are any less reticent in helping their customers than their UK distributors seem to be. It could be ignorance or protectionism, but it makes little sense to try to withhold such information. Perhaps Motogb employees have had a common sense bypass that came free with their ‘mandatory training course‘...!

I did reply politely, explaining that being a licensed aircraft engineer I was indeed somewhat familiar with traversing wiring diagrams.

Their attitude does seem strange given that they would rather people bodged modifications without information than had access to good up to date intel which would make finding the correct wires easier. Ah well.

When BMW launched their F650GS the manual was only available in CD form, and there was no overall diagram ,just a series of individual diagrams.
OK, they were easier to follow, which was good, but they were also easier to change, which happened all too often, with the old diagram just vanishing.
So if you had a 2000 bike and bought the CD in 2005 you were stuffed unless you retrofitted the revised components and wiring!
Not saying this is the case with the Hima, but there is the possibility that some parts have have been changed and the dealers are the only people who have the technical bulletins which go with any revisions.
When they feel they are done changing they might do a final diagram- who knows!
In those days few had broken BMW's code, and the SA guy who developed the GS 911 code breaking unit in an effort to get 20 odd bike he had bought for a safari business running ended up discovering that his problem, and mine, was in a component that no one had any record of seeing on any drawing from BMW!
And the GS 911 did not pick it up!

My dealer has commented a few times that the bikes they get morph from one model to the next rather than having defined changes for a new model year.

For example 2020 Australian BS4/Euro4 released in the end of 2019 looked like the Indian BS4 but 2020 Australian BS4/Euro4 from March/April 2020 onwards had the new paint colours along with Indian BS6 style speedo backgrounds and side covers. Would not surprise me if wiring looms 'morphed' as well.

Would be interesting if our later builds had the wiring for ABS off switches but just not the switch itself.

For a definitive answer, ask RE. My opinion, which is worth what it costs.
Mechanically similar. - engine, gearbox, cycle parts.
Electrics, EFi probably there will be differences.

Being a '22 machine, the owner's manual should suffice for the time being. Proper service book should appear in time for your needs.

Yah , Google. Click or copy paste the links and they dead end with some Google nonsense.
You, me, none of us have any control over someone else's Google drive account. Possibilities: the links could be broken or corrupt in the server. The owner of the Google drive account pulled the content. The lawyers representing the owners of the copyright protected materials uploaded to the account contacted the uploader.
