What color schemes are you hopeful for?

I will go on record as saying I love all of the RE colors across their model range. However, I'm particularly fond of the Desert Storm, Squadron Blue and the Orange Crush. That being said, I would like to see them bring back to the states the maroon/cream and the aqua green/white cream colors to the 500's. Not even sure if the pics I saw of these colors were official RE schemes or custom jobs but they looked amazing! What would you like to see?

Many bike manufacturers offer one, maybe two colors per year for each model. I'd buy a bike and the color I really want comes out the next year, or like the bike,, but hate the color offering.

Nice to see Royal Enfield offering multiple colors each year.

Just to make sure people know, this bike is nothing to do with me, and I am not connected in any way with the trade save as a customer - this is purely so you guys can see the pictures... my Personal opinion is that an extra 1400 for a paint job, panniers, and crashbars is just them adding to their margins. If I want green I’ll get some paint from a military supplier and do it myself!

Other things I have found for ‘pre customised’ himalayans for people who dont want to do the work themselves....

Perhaps not as bright as the initial paint scheme was before it got weathered by the elements - after all our bikes are unlikely to be 'tempered' in quite the same way as the LRDG vehicles would have been. There is a reason why they got the nickname 'pinkies' though!
Mine will be here next week..i've already got the big .50 cal boxes as panniers(no girly ali pretty stuff )and then its out with the heavy cosmoline for the rear swingarm/hidden nooks & crannys. all bolts removed(one by one.. :) ) and threads smeared with copperslip/high melting point grease and finally couple of coats of NATO(Hand painterd in the best tradition) green..will come out similar to my daily hack which will be retired.

Nice.

I have a couple of 7.62 link ammo boxes I am intending to use. They should bolt straight into the rear pannier rack mounting points, so no rails required. will put a bit of old inner tube sandwiched in there for waterproofing and as a vibration damper.

Edit: been thinking about this further and thought to share my idea. On the front end, fit rotopax mounting rails, and bolt one of the smaller 7.62 link cans on one side, and a rotopax container on the other side (not for fuel, but as a water container for camping at rallies). Can paint the water can so it looks the part. Water cans were designated by a white cross.

Your Guzzi looks great. Now I need to choose whether to go with the ‘pinkie’ look, nato green with REME corps markings, or 8th army markings.... oh the agony of choice!!!
