Sintered front brake pads - OK for rotor?

There is talk of sintered pads like EBC FA181HH to improve front braking.
I believe stock pads are not sintered (organic?) and that sintered have bits of metal in them.
Is there not a risk of sintered pads wearing the disc rotor faster than stock?
May all be academic when it comes to improving braking.
Just wondering.
I know that, up to a point, disc rotors are consumables too.

I reckon there is. I still think it's worth while though. I felt the difference with the sintered pads straight away, and I was brought up on crap British bikes with rubbish brakes, so I don't think I'm spoilt.. 😊
