Oil drain bolt washer

My dealer gave me a $50 card to use at the dealer when I bought my bike. I went there today and bought some oil filters, air filter, spark plug with it. I wanted to buy some copper crush washers for the oil drain bolt but the guy said they don't stock that item. He said their service department reuses the washer. What size bolt and washer does the Himalayan use? I would like to use a fresh washer during oil changes. I guess I can bypass the drain plug all together and just remove the screen housing cover?

I have fitted a magnetic drain plug, so like to clean/ inspect that at oil change time.
Hitchcocks sell Thackery ? washers which have a rubber seal at the inside and are re useable - mine is still sealing after five oil changes.

Hit the washer with a propane torch and get it red hot , let it cool and it will be as good as new , it's called annealing .

Hey Roy, greetings from NYC. Do you know the thread pitch for the M14x12 bolt? It is tough sledding to find detailed RE specs. TIA
