Just learned motorcycle shops/dealers/etc. in NY are deemed "non-essential" and therefore must close starting tomorrow, until the virus is "gone", or until the ban is lifted. My local Honda dealer said MC dealers state-wide are trying to band together to get the ban lifted. It's not really motorcycle season.....yet..... but it's around the corner. Gonna hurt if there are no dealers open!

But auto repair shops may remain open. It's not a stretch that motorcycle repair shops fall in that category so I'm hoping they might open soon. I read in another place bicycle shops can remain open due to the transportation aspect of it, but I didn't see it in the article above.

Insanity! I can understand social distancing to slow the spread, but taking away peoples livelihood is incredulous!
Don't know where in NY you live. But this has been one of the mildest winters in a few years. except for the two times that there was significant snow on the ground. I've been riding all winter. I live in Orange county. Don't have that problem with the kids. My kids are still living at home. I think they know when they have it good.
