O.k. so I talked to Seat Concepts and exchanged an email and they're going to get back to us.

Link to the last group buy thread> http://www.royalenfieldowners.com/index.php?threads/closed-group-buy-opportunity-for-seat-concept-seat-for-the-himalayan-closed.84/page-6

The last group buy is woven in the the Himalayan owners thread on ADV> https://advrider.com/f/threads/royal-enfield-himalayan-owners-thread.1253460/

Way too many threads across the social medias about the first SCGB to list.

Ask your pals to speak up on this one so we can get an idea of how many are willing to throw their hat in the ring,

Hi All
liking the original seat once I cut it down to a better shape but agree that a wider seat would be more preferable so up for a seat concepts deal, with hopefully not to much extra cash to ship to the UK :) Paul

Count me in for the Seat Concepts group buy for my new Himalayan. I'm torn between the regular, and the tall. I'm short, so I'll probably stick with the regular. The stock seat is too narrow, and uncomfortable.

the regular Seat Concepts is surprisingly versatile and comfy. I am 6'4" and occasionally ride my wife's Hima. On the stock seat i felt cramped and my knees would hit the tank guard. On the SC i sit a bit further back which makes quite a difference.

Well, now I'm leaning more towards the regular SC seat, based on your input. Thank you for the info. The OEM seat pushes me forward, and is too narrow. It gets fairly uncomfortable in short order. How many of us are there ready to do a group buy? Let's hear it !

Anyone know if Seat Concepts has replied to our request yet? I'm still interested, but the riding season is getting short, and my butt would be happier on a new seat. I could just buy one, but I'd rather save some money if possible.

Time to bust your piggy bank and git your quarters rolled. We're getting the final details from SC today, tell all your friends and stay tuned.

OK, counting out the pennies and waiting to hear details. Never been in a group buy before and have no idea how it works. I will be out of town and away from the internet till Sunday night, so if things happen fast, try to wait for me. Wait... this is a Royal Enfield forum. Nothing happens fast on an Enfield, which is part of their charm...
