Recently picked up a 20 Himalayan. First bike in a few years. Coming from a 12 GS. Planning on bombing around the hundreds of miles of logging trails up here. Did a little customizing to make her my own. SRC windshield, crash bars and headlight guard. Also double take mirrors. Need this weather to break...IMG_1138 2.jpgIMG_1137 2.jpgIMG_1140.jpg

Welcome from another cheesehead and congrats on the new bike!

If you have a GPS and are looking for various riding options check here: https://advrider.com/f/forums/gps-tracks-central-texas-gulf-states.39/ For starters there's the Northern WI Adv Trail: https://advrider.com/f/threads/northern-wisconsin-adventure-trail-nwat.794579/
Thanks. Already loaded up Cannonshots tracks. The Northern Wi Adv looks fun and challenging. Have you road it? Think its doable on the Himalayan?

I haven't done the NWAT yet, it's on the list. No idea on how the Himalayan would do on it. IIR it was not recommended to take the big GS or KTMs on it. Time of year might play a part also. Spring/summer rains could make it a mess.

Welcome from an even newer Himalayan owner from Wisconsin. Picked mine up a couple weeks ago. I‘d really like to do part or all of the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail , it’s on the bucket list.
