Hello from Ottawa Ontario Canada

mofa

Total noob
I have been riding since I was 15..currently 68 years young. I've owned 32 bikes in my life time.

Haven't ridden for 5 years since I gave up my spyder trike.

Missed riding so much but hadn't seen a bike that turned me on to taking it up again..UNTIL..I saw the new interceptor 650.

So I now have a deposit on a orange 650 and I am waiting for it to arrive. Btw the orange ones are the fastest 👍🤗

I do think Royal Enfield mucked up the north American launch in that the Us and Canadian dealers should have had the bikes by now and more of them. As well the accessories should have here as well.

I do wish RE well and hope this bike along with the Himalayan grows the company in north America.

Currently the dealer here doesn't have a clue when the bike arrives and is only getting 4 in certain colors.

The Toronto roll out is June 2nd..and dealers with preorders don't have them??...missed opportunity me thinks and the riding season is short in Canada and the northern states.

Just my thoughts 🤔

Welcome to the group Mofa :) The 650 Interceptor is a good bike. It's true that Royal Enfield has been stumbling along and has not been on top of their game when it comes to marketing and supplying their bikes or parts or accessories. But they just installed a new ceo last month and had a major reorganization of upper management. So let's hope that will change the way things are done in the future. But it will probably take a little time, so be patient !

Oh hey neighbor, Welcome.

I hear ya. Helps me to understand RE Nort America is a subsidiary and not the corporate mother ship so RENA has to turn a profit and stay within their budget while building their market presence here. Tough job in tough industry but they're doing it. North American sales volume doubled last year.
