Hi I'm new. So is the Himalayan. Picked it up last Tuesday with 3.9km on the clock and just returned it for its first service with 546km.
Before the Himalayan I rode a 1991 Honda XL185S. Mostly on dirt roads in the bush with the odd commute to work.
Long term goal for the Himalayan is to ride across the Simpson Desert and up to Cape York, the northern tip of Australia. Short term goal is to ride it all over New South Wales.
That's about it in a nutshell.
