I'm always wary of crash bars and bobbins / doughnuts you see fitted to motorcycle frames ...
No stress testing has been done and in many cases the major damage to the main frame was caused by the crash structures...
If your bike falls over at high or low speed the contact patch with the road / ground is easy to discern ... adding steel moment arms to the main frame structure will always cause stress that the frame was not designed for ...
If RE want to sell crash bars make sure that main frame damage caused by the attachment of their crash structures is covered by warranty ... Doubt it is..
