Aux Light Mount

Greetings,
Has anyone mounted lights to the top bars? If so, how did you do it? Pics would be swell. So you know, the top bars are on either side of the tank.

I mounted mine on the tube mounting by removing the plastic bungs and fitting a star nut in the tube (6mm)

Very nice installation, never thought about it. Could you please provide any links for "Star NUT" you have got.

I went basic by cutting some tabs from 1/8" aluminum bar and used existing hardware.

I'm curious what lights you used? And if they have held up to conditions(my main worry about inexpensive Amazon lights)

These lights are $23/pair from Amazon. They certainly add to the conspicuity; however, I've not taken them out in the dark yet. May last forever, may not. I'll likely replace them with something more impressive (read pricier) if one of them fails.

Yeah, my experience with lights from Amazon is the light works fine, but the finish isn't very durable.

I’m interested in seeing how you guys mounted the switches for your aux lights.

I added a tab to the back of the Oxford switch and stuck the PIAA switch to it.
