    Compatible clutch and brake levers?

But then you end up with unused levers?

    Compatible clutch and brake levers?

That's perfect, thanks, although everything on Ebay seems to be brake/clutch lever combo. I can't find the DK12 brake lever alone without being in a combo. How did you get the 2 different types (brake + clutch)?

Budget waterproof bag for tank side rack?

I wrapped the bag straps around the rails, then used a few zip ties to make sure it wasn’t going anywhere. I used a large 3 foot zip tie surrounding everything.

    Compatible clutch and brake levers?

Does anyone know of compatible levers for the Himalayan? Looking for something that I can order quickly in the USA, without waiting for shipping from India.

    I have joined the forum.

Welcome! I had weeping cylinders on 5 out of 6 of my Himmas. I used a box end 8mm wrench and torqued them down a tiny bit. Hoping that cures it. Be careful... some people have reported stripping the studs.

Budget waterproof bag for tank side rack?

My $11 bag ended up working well, so I've outfitted all the bikes with one, each containing 2 9" tire irons, a patch kit and a 12V compressor. At first, I mounted it on the front rack, but due to the way the straps are, a corner of the bag was catching full frontal wind, so I ended up mounting...

    Cylinder head weep.

5 out of my 6 Himalayans are weeping oil. I'm going thru them all today and re-torquing these 2 bolts. Will report what happens.

    Himalayan Valve Adjustment Questions!

OK, perhaps I'm getting closer. I rotated to TDC several times, looking for wiggly rocker arms. There are times when the T aligns in the inspection hole and I can move the rockers a tiny bit... I'm talking maybe 1/64". I'm assuming that's the correct TDC. FWIW, I tried the finger over the...

    Himalayan Valve Adjustment Questions!

I'm revisiting this thread because I'm doing my 4th 300 mile service and I am still unsure on the which TDC I'm dealing with. I have a feeling that many people are adjusting their valves wrong, due to all the misinformation floating out there. Here's the source of my confusion: I align the T...

Well, I just picked my Himmie today

^^^ Amen! I flew 1,000 miles, rented a 28' Uhaul box van, then drove it 10 hours home with my new Himmas. All that for a good OTD price from Dennis Dillon Powersports in Boise.

Budget waterproof bag for tank side rack?

I like these, but they're too large for my purpose. I would rather have a smaller bag out in the frontal wind. And as has been said, the shipping cost is killer.

    Himalayan Valve Adjustment Questions!

That's a great video by @Putt thanks! "Hope you didn't mix those two mixed up. front = intake, rear = exhaust. the valve/tappet covers are also labelled on the inside if you didn't notice already." WHAT???!!!! Are you sure?

    Himalayan Valve Adjustment Questions!

I guess I'm confused at which T to align... the T in the front observation hole, or the T next to the flywheel nut. Their positions seem to be unrelated to each other. When I align the line using the front observation hole, the T next to the flywheel nut is at the 4 o'clock position. The...

    Himalayan Valve Adjustment Questions!

Wow, now I'm more confused than ever :) I didn't know about that observation port towards the front of the case with the arrow. I was aligning the T according to how I saw a Youtube video, which apparently is incorrect. So looking into the observation hole, while rotating counter-clockwise, I...
